If you’ve been reading Film Gecko for a while, you know I’m nuts about Mark Wahlberg. Practically anything he does, I’m there for. “Shooter” didn’t get a ton of press, but it’s one of my favorite movies of 2007. I didn’t receive a screener DVD when it came out, so I actually went out and bought a copy. That’s how much I liked that movie.
The trailers and photos for “Max Payne” already have me fairly hooked. It looks like a good blend of action, fantasy, and crime-drama, so we’ll see how it looks in theaters Oct. 17, 2008. Check out a few new-ish stills:
