As a serious writer of children’s fantasy literature, I’d be honored to see the hip-hop mogals promote literacy and self-esteem through their message and lyricks. They can still spit and flow about a love of $ and bling, but all while saying, it don’t neam a thing if it don’t swing and scream wit da ring of reading, writing ,and self-esteem.
