That's what you gotta do with the media, turn it onto them. Paul McCartney was once asked if he was being a bad influence for admitting to fans that he took LSD. He told the reporter that he believed in telling the truth and that for that he was a good influence and that it was the media who were glorifying his drug use. I think a lot of people missed it. The thing is that the interview was slanted against Nas from the beginning. CNN used a few basic media and PR tricks to set this up that essentially were designed to make Nas look like an ass. I broke down the situation on a post on my site.
