Tonight I watched "Nacho Libre" and fell asleep part way through. I don’t think it’s because the movie was that bad, I think I’m just coming down with something. Nevertheless, my husband watched the whole thing and had this to say about the Jack Black flick:
The movie was oddly funny in typical Jack Black style and he even manages to get in a singing solo or two. For those of you into professional wrestling, you’ll likely get a kick out of this movie… Those who never had an interest, you might be bored. If you’ve never heard of the WWE (formerly WWF) stay away from this flick. A lot of Spanish thrown around in the background as the movie is based in Mexico… Made the movie a bit more interesting for me as I know a little Spanish but this would not detract from the movie if you know nada. Plot was a little disjointed, but entertaining none the less.

Jack Black is amazing and I don’t appriciate the “eew” at him in tights!! I think he is GOD!!
This movie really captured what jack Black is all about. When i saw the trailer for this movie i immediatly knew that it is my kind of humor. I have always been a fan of Jack Black ever since “school of Rock” first hit the theatres. He has a certain energy about him that makes each one of his films unique. Nacho Libre is a film that either you love it or you hate it. Well in this case i loved it! I have recieved a lot of mixed feelings about this film and i have to say you do need a certain sence of humor to really understand the craziness of this film. jack Black… your my hero!!
