In the episode Voice Flame Extinguisher, the MythBusters put classic hypnosis hypotheses under the microscope.
MYTHS:
1. Can you plant a suggestion to make someone do something against their will (like you usually see in the movies)?

2. Is memory recall better while hypnotised?
Adam and Jamie devise a scene to be staged for an unsuspecting Kari, Tory and Grant to see if they can remember what took place in the scene. They are looking for names and distinguishing characteristics about the people that were in the scenes. They will then test their power of memory recall before and after hypnosis. What do you think?
