Sony Screen Gems has released the official synopsis for Resident Evil: Afterlife, starring our very own Wentworth Miller!
In a world ravaged by a virus infection, turning its victims into the Undead, Alice continues on her journey to find survivors and lead them to safety. Her deadly battle with the Umbrella Corporation reaches new heights, but Alice gets some unexpected help from an old friend. A new lead that promises a safe haven from the Undead leads them to Los Angeles, but when they arrive the city is overrun by thousands of Undead and Alice and her comrades are about to step into a deadly trap.
Resident Evil: Extinction’s Ali Larter and Spencer Locke return with Jovovich for Afterlife alongside Shawn Roberts, Kodjoe and Wentworth Miller. Norman Yeung and Kacey Barnfield are also joining the cast, both in unspecified roles. Paul W.S. Anderson will return to direct from his own script.
Resident Evil: Afterlife opens on August 27, 2010 in 3-D.

I think the old friend is our Went right?Ohhhhh I’m sure he’ll be awesome in this character.I wish for him best of luck in this movie and waiting for it from now.Though I don’t like this kind of movies but last week I watched the last 2 parts to understand the storyline and I’ll look for the 3rd
I pray to see him next year in this movie and in Bioshock too,because 1 movie isn’t enough for me

I have finished Resident Evil series 1-3! Just because of Wentworth the same reason as you! I think their story line is OK for me! I like to see something more around it!
I do hope that they can polish it and deepen it in ‘Afterlife’ to make it become a great film for different audience in different places like PB does!
