More News on Stella’s Love Interest on CSI:NY

It appears that Det. Stella has a little Dawson’s Creek crush going on. The new forged documents expert that will become a recurring regular in the CSI:NY cast is none other than Kerr Smith.

Kerr has been busy with other things besides Dawson’s Creek of course. You’ve probably seen him most recently on the series “Justice” that was on Fox, unless you missed it since it wasn’t on very long.

…will play Drew Becker, an expert in forged documents and a love interest for Stella (Melina Kanakaredes). “Well, he pretends to be an expert in forged documents,” clarifies executive producer Pam Veasey. “He has a mysterious background that we are slowly developing. He’s a love interest who has an ulterior motive.”

So he’s pretending to know what he’s doing just to get close to Stella? Or is it to get close to someone else on the team?
