‘Monk’ and ‘Psych’ Return Dates

Good news, crime fans who like their mysteries funny. USA has announced the January 2008 return dates for the detective dramedies Monk and Psych. Both shows will resume their current seasons on Friday, January 11.

As is common on basic cable, USA Network splits popular series’ seasons into front and back halves. When the shows restart in January, Monk will be finishing up its sixth season of 16 episodes and Psych its second season of 16 episodes.

The next scheduled episode of Monk is “Mr. Monk Joins a Cult” (heaven help him!), which will premiere at 9pm EST on Friday, January 11. Following at 10pm is Psych‘s “There’s Something About Mira.” If the episode is anywhere near as silly-crazy as There’s Something About Mary, the Ben Stiller/Cameron Diaz movie that the title obviously mimics, then USA is definitely the place to be on January 11.
