Modern Family: ‘En Garde’ Preview

Manny begins a new activity on “En Garde,” the appropriately titled November 4 episode of ABC’s Modern Family.

After Gloria’s son takes up fencing, the whole family unites to support him.

Unfortunately, Mitchell begins to relive bad experiences from his own childhood when Jay proudly shows his enthusiasm for his stepson’s obvious talent.

Meanwhile, Manny’s new endeavor inspires Phil to try to figure out what previously unrecognized talent his son Luke may have.

Check out two “En Garde” sneak peeks below. In the first preview, Claire and Phil discover their son Luke’s seemingly innate gift for selling stuff, and we learn about Mitchell and his sister’s competitive figure-skating background in the second video.
