Michigan's Mountain Rock Music Festival Canceled

According to Encore.celebrityaccess.com not just the Mountain Rock Music Festival, but the Mountain Country Music Festival has been canceled as well.

Phil Coultrip, organizer for the Mountain Country Music Festival and the Mountain Rock Festival told the Saginaw News unidentified investors had withdrawn their support, leaving him with significant debt and no 2008 season.

“It was a very difficult decision to make to postpone the shows, but the reality is our investors pulled out, and we didn’t have any other funds.” Coultrip told the Saginaw News. “All the prospects for the future depend on finding new funds, private or institutional. I’m feverishly trying to find investors to pick up the ball. It is very disheartening.”

I am very disappointed that the shows have been cancelled but I would like to get my money back. They took my money under what I believe to be false pretenses as they knew they didn’t have the money to pay the bills. I want my money back and cannot get a response from them. I don’t want to be creditted for next year as I may not be in the area due to employment opportunities.
