This news got lost amid all the Art Gallery stuff yesterday: Michael Emerson has been nominated for a Golden Globe Award for his supporting role on Lost as Benjamin Linus. He’s up against Neil Patrick Harris (How I Met Your Mother), William Hurt (Damages), John Lithgow (Dexter), and Jeremy Piven (Entourage). Sadly, this is Lost’s one and only Golden Globe nomination, though Lost’s composer Michael Giacchino was also nominated in the Best Original Score category for the Disney/Pixar movie Up.
Here’s a new interview with Emerson from TV Guide, where he talks about the nomination and how impressed he is with the work of Terry O’Quinn and Josh Holloway in Lost’s final season, which is currently filming.
