Michael Bay: We’re Crazy

michaelbay1 Michael Bay sat down with Entertainment Weekly recently and revealed a few details about the Friday the 13th remake he’s producing. Well, not very many details, because he doesn’t want the “Internet crazies” going, you know, crazy or anything. Whatever.

Anyway, the movie was shot in Texas and is currently being edited. The new story will include the plots of the two original Friday the 13th movies, but all the characters will be new. “I know this one will really be scary, but it’s also funny, as well,” he says. “It’s a fun college adventure that goes awry. It’s not a movie I would ever show my mom!”

And watch out for the first 12 minutes, which Bay says will be unbelievable. “It’s a twist in itself.”

Ok, it’s a slasher movie about a psycho targeting teens. Yeah, we’ve never seen that before. You know, he’s got a thing going for horror flicks. He’s working on remakes of A Nightmare on Elm Street, The Birds, and Rosemary’s Baby. How about a nice romantic comedy, Michael?
