Men of a Certain Age: Second Season a Go

If you’re a fan of TNT’s latest original series, Men of a Certain Age, now is the time to get very, very happy. Today the network announced that it has picked up a second season of the rookie dramedy.

The news should definitely provide sweet relief to any viewers worrying the show wouldn’t be renewed due to its so-so ratings. Thank goodness, then, that the series has both critical acclaim and quality on its side, and that TNT recognized why each is important.

According to the network’s official press release, Season Two of Men of a Certain Age will contain ten episodes, the same number as in the freshman season.

Says Michael Wright, TNT executive vice president and head of programming: “Men of a Certain Age has been embraced by viewers and critics alike, making our decision to renew an easy one. We look forward to continuing our wonderful relationship with everyone involved.”

We fans look forward to continuing our relationship with series stars Ray Romano, Andre Braugher, and Scott Bakula, as well.

Men of a Certain Age airs Mondays on TNT at 10pm ET.
