I Think bands should leave their music alone like for instance ZZ TOP first six albums were excellent until they remastered them now I have to find a record player that works to listen to Rio Grande Mud. But anyways I have been listening to Megadeth since 1985 and Dave Mustain is Probably my favorite guitarist and Rust in Peace is one of my favorite albums and I have listened to it 5000 times since 1990 the new version sounds much different and the same for Peace Sells,Countdown to Extinction,Youthanasia,Cryptic Writings,it sounds like a totally different band I will say that the remastered version of So Far, So Good, So What is worth the buy it needed to be remastered and Risk who cares about that album but for me thank God I have the originals on Cd still

Got peace sells remastered and does not sound as good as original!! Snare sounds dull and lifeless and guitars sound very thin and lacking crunch.

i always enjoy picking up their remastered stuff, it's not like a quick clean up, but an actual new take on the songs which is always nice.
