Entertainment Weekly‘s Michael Ausiello reports that an upcoming Season 5 episode of Lost will introduce us for the first time to Jack’s grandfather. The season’s seventh episode, titled “3:16,” will mark the first appearance of this character; actor Raymond Barry has been cast in the part.
Barry (pictured) is best known for minor but memorable roles in Born On the Fourth of July, Dead Man Walking, Training Day, and Walk Hard. He’s guest starred on a number of TV shows, including Alias, CSI, Crossing Jordan, Law & Order, and many more. Scifi fans may remember him best as Senator Matheson, Mulder’s congressional informant on The X-Files.
