If you’re waiting for Matt Damon to sign on for the fourth “Bourne” movie, you’ll have to wait a little longer. The actor says he isn’t going ahead with it unless director Paul Greengrass also signs on.
“I’m waiting for Paul,” Damon said at the “Invictus” premiere. “And he’ll come back when there’s a script.”
Word on the street is that Greengrass reportedly quit the fourth installment of the “Bourne” franchise this week over a disagreement with Universal Pictures about the screenplay written by Damon pal George Nolfi.
Well, they can’t exactly have a “Bourne” movie without Jason Bourne (Damon), so I’m pretty sure it’ll be worked out one way or another.
Greengrass directed “The Bourne Supremacy” and “The Bourne Ultimatum.” Doug Liman directed “The Bourne Identity.”
