Yah! One of my favorite actresses, Mary-Louise Parker, has signed on for “Solitary,” a movie about an ex-auto dealership owner (Michael Douglas) whose career and marriage have collapsed because of his less-than-ethical behavior.
Parker will play Jordan, the high-powered society beau of Douglas’ character. And what a cast! It also includes Susan Sarandon, Danny DeVito and Jenna Fischer.
Brian Koppelman and David Levien will direct from Koppelman’s script. Paul Schiff and Steven Soderbergh are producing, among others.
I sped through Parker’s “Weeds” on DVD this summer, and am impatiently awaiting the DVDs for season four, which I haven’t seen yet. Haven’t heard a release date, though.
