Mary-Louise Parker is out and about on Broadway

Weeds star and longtime theater lover Mary-Louise Parker was out last week to support Liza Minnelli’s return to Broadway, Liza’s At The Palace. The opening-night performance drew MLP and other NYC celebs including Shirley MacLaine and Vincent D’Onofrio.

Parker, who’ll do her own Broadway turn next month in the title role of Hedda Gabler in Ibsen’s classic drama at American Airlines Theatre, told Playbill that Minnelli’s energy is like nothing else: “Liza gives so much love, and the audience just seems to take it and give it right back to her,” MLP said. “The whole thing is so moving. It’s so rare. You don’t get to see that so much in the theater anymore.”

More photos of Mary-Louise at the premiere are after the jump.
