Marg Helgenberger has been staying fairly busy recently with a variety of roles in movies. Her most recent is starring opposite of Kevin Costner in "Mr. Brooks" and she’s currently filming "Columbus Day".
So she seizes the smaller opportunities on the big screen. In "Mr. Brooks," she’s plays the good woman standing by her man, played by Kevin Costner. "I just wanted to make sure I’m in the pocket, that we appear to have a loving relationship," Helgenberger says. Did we mention that Costner is playing a Jekyll-and-Hyde serial killer? One can imagine the director yelling, "OK, Marg, do blissfully ignorant." Helgenberger jokes that her "CSI" alter-ego would have "nailed his ass." But in this alternate reality she is "blinded by love" as her spouse continues his nocturnal hunting with his devil’s advocate subconscience (portrayed by William Hurt).
After reading through this article, I was reminded that Marg played a hooker to some of the soldiers in the old TV show "China Beach" with Dana Delany and Michael Boatman. Some of Marg’s movie credits include include: In Good Company, Erin Brockovich, Species I & II, Fire Down Below, and Bad Boys.

um i havent seen it but i wish i could yeah she’s a great actress !
i havent had a chance to see “Mr Brooks” yet, as it hasnt come out in the UK! shame! i think marg needed a change in pace, almost. after playing Catherine, in CSI, for so long i expect she enfoys the chance to play a blissfully happy character. i know i would!
i love marg i other things, like In Good Company. i really enjoyed that film and thought she protrayed a brilliant mother!
what else can i say? just a brilliant actress!
