• At this point in time Desmond and Penny are nomadic, moving from city to city, and are currently in Mati.
• Ben is chasing them, intent on killing Penny as revenge for Widmore.
• Penny learns she is pregnant.
• The doctor warns her that Desmond’s sperm shows abnormalities.
• Ben travels to North Africa where he finds a Dharma station (NOT on the Island).
• Ben discovers where Penny is and travels there.
• Ben poisons Penny’s food at a restaurant.
• Ben then learns that Penny is pregnant and he stops the waiter from taking her food.
• Penny has pain in the harbor and Desmond rushes to get a doctor.
• Penny is in grave condition and delivers the child.
• Desmond runs from the village and his body spasms.
