ABC has published its press release for the Season 5 finale of Lost, complete with a plot teaser and the complete guest cast roster. The two-hour episode, entitled “The Incident,” airs Wednesday, May 13 from 9-11:PM EST — that’s just 2 weeks away! Can you believe the season is almost over already?
Needless to say, there are potential spoilers ahead in this press release (wait till you get a load of the guest cast list), so I’m embedding the full skinny after the jump…
Still with me? Good. Here’s how ABC describes the final episode of Season 5:

Jack’s decision to put a plan in action in order to set things right on the island is met with some strong resistance by those close to him, and Locke assigns Ben a difficult task.

The plot synopsis sounds juicy enough (and you can bet it’s concealing a TON), but the guest cast list has me salivating. It’s like “Season 5 all-stars”! Plus… the return of Bernard & Rose! Finally!

It will be good to know what’s up with Rose and Bernard but I think what is more salivating is the “young” characters. Am I the only one who thinks they might not be from flashbacks? Could this be a time travel thing? And if they are flashbacks, it will be good to see these characters as young people again. Some for the first time. Bring on the finale!

The inclusion of Nadia ices it. Sayid is about to exit stage left.
