NBC Universal, the parent company for SCI FI Channel, is pleased with the numbers from a four-hour episode block that marked the debut of Lost on SCI FI Monday.

In the 8pm-11pm ET stretch, SCI FI was the #6 cable entertainment network for viewers 25-54 and no. 8 for viewers aged 18-49. That 8-11 pm prime average is the Network’s best Monday prime performance with series since January 2007.   Lost takes over for a block of Star Trek:The Next Generation reruns and compared to the June stack debut of those shows, Lost improved SCI FI’s rating by a whopping 42 percent in advertisers’ favorite demographic, 18-49 year old viewers.
