There is going to be a cast member (a regular) who has been on since season 1 and will not be returning for season 5. According to inside sources, this person’s contract has been put into a holding deal and the plan at this point is to have her return for season 6.
Also a little tidbit for the upcoming seasons – time travel and teleporting will be a huge factor and on a much larger scale!

I’m guessing Claire too, what with how she was treated this season. She’s almost been a mere sidenote of late.
