Jack, Kate, and Daniel walk through the forest and come across a box that came from the helicopter. Jack opens it to find gas masks and supplies. Daniel badly pretends that he doesn’t know why they are there. Jack then asks Daniel why he still carries his gun. Daniel relates that rescuing the survivors was not their main objective.
