Looking Back at 2007: Part One

Another year is at an end, so I thought I’d take a look back at some of the Sci Fi stories that made the news this past year. We lost a couple of the greatest Science Fiction authors, several classic Sci Fi shows and movies were remade and JJ Abrams was the man of the year with both Star Trek and Cloverfield rating high on the buzz meter.

Let’s start at the very beginning. . .

Peter Jackson has eaten his words – and as the brains behind a huge franchise, it won’t be the last time, I’m sure. Just so long as he doesn’t turn into George Lucas.
