Here are a couple of lovely photos of House star Lisa Edelstein at last night’s Golden Globe Awards NBC After Party. Black seems to be her choice of colors to wear lately [watch for another post about that.] I like this dress, and think she looks lovely with her hair up, but aftyer watching the Golden Globes last night, I’m sad that she didn’t follow the trend and wear an exciting necklace…even if it was fake, it wouldn’t have looked so bare on TV or in these photos. Also, I know that the gladiator-style of shoes is in right now, but I think this dress would have gone better with a more delicate style of shoe. What do you think?

Style is knowing when ‘less’ is more and not looking like everyone else. Lisa obviously knows how to carry this off. I’m sure her fabulous decolletege drew more appreciative glances than any necklace would have. As House would say ” well your eyes tell us nothing ’cause we’re too busy looking at your breasts.”
i agree with sadie. a necklace would have been too much between those fabulous earrings and the large dress detail.
as to the shoes, yeah, a delicate shoe would have worked, but these did too. i think she took a bit of a risk in wearing those and it paid off. they’re not what you’d expect with a dress like that, which is what makes them work.
and grr, i would give anything to know how to do my eye liner like that!!
I love her choice of earrings and a bare neckline. Especially since her dress has that large bow and so much sparkle to it. Her up do is really flattering.
