Lil Wayne plead “not guilty” at a Yuca, Arizona court today. Trial is being set for the rapper as he intends to fight the charges. Originally the Arizona State police busted Lil Wayne for possession of firearms (owned by his body guards), as well as possession of cocaine, ecstasy and marijuana. The gun charges were dropped but the drug charges stand.

Lil Wayne has had to miss several concert appearances because of court time conflicts. So far this little ordeal has cost Lil Wayne several millions. Who knows if the drug charges will stand. I do however find it hard to believe that Lil Wayne would be dumb enough to try and smuggle drugs into the United States. Any normal person would dump everything and get some fresh supplies once in the states.
Lil Wayne has loosely said that he believes the Police blew the situation out of proportion and only stopped them because they looked like likely subjects. Well I’d have to agree with that one. If you drive a mini-van with a car-seat in the back cops will leave you alone. If you wear pounds of gold jewelry and drive in big flashy cars cops will pull you over.

I am from the old school of music,yet in the beginning I defended the early rappers, such as “sugarhill gang” But,this other bunch of losers are really getting on my last nerve. Is this the way they pay the public back. Away with them all.
