Lemur Kingdom – Episode 1: “Little Lost Lemur”

In this episode of Lemur Kingdom, The Furies invaded the Graveyards territory to seal some of their cactus. And not only did they steal the cactus they erupted in a downright brawl between the two queens, Juno and Electra. These chicks, can I call them that, are so FIERCE! So after the fight there was really no more food so each of the two groups head out to the forest to search for some more food. Craziness! So there’s a member of the Graveyard Gang called Peg Leg, appropriately because he only has three legs, what a shame! I wonder what happened. Well, anyway, he can’t really keep up with all the activity so they end up leaving him behind. They are ALL of self in this little crew! So while searching they ended up finding these underground flowers, which seemed to be owned by another group, the Brown lemurs, well here we go again, ANOTHER fight breaks out to see who’s going to get to keep these wild flowers. In the end, they are able to enjoy the flowers because they beat up the Brown lemurs petty badly. Meanwhile, the Furies go to the tourist camp to steal food from the houses and cars. The arrival of a thunderstorm traps the Graveyards where they found the flowers, while the Furies are forced to spend the night in the tourist camp and Peg Leg must spend the cold night alone. In the morning, Crystal leads the Graveyards back to their home based, enjoying a banquet of fruit that fell from the trees during the storm. The Furies use grooming to dry off, but first time mother Amazon doesn’t groom her five-month old son Gizmo.
Basically, what this episode all boils down to is that the Graveyard Gang is made up of a bunch of bullies and Amazon, though a great fighter and leader, not so great of a mother. I’m not sure what Gizmo’s fate is going to be because he keeps getting hurt. We’ll see in the episodes to come if he makes it or not.
