Lane Garrison is taking on a project about troubled teens and the redemptive power of football – writing the screenplay for the film, One Heart.
The film follows the true story of a football team from the Gainesville (Texas) State School that’s made up of kids convicted of crimes involving drugs, violence and robbery.
After a 2008 season in which they lost every game and were outscored 300-14, the Tornadoes went on the road to play Faith Christian School, whose coach mobilized his community so that the town cheered not for his Faith Lions but for Gainesville. The Tornadoes still lost, but it wasn’t a wipeout. And for the first time, the players felt like a team and not the sum total of their crimes.
When he heard of the story, Lane admits he was moved to tears. “I knew who those kids were because I was one of them. I knew what it was to be locked away and feel hopelessness and feel like, ‘Will I ever have another redeeming quality; will I have a second chance?’”
Lane reportedly met up with the producers and told his story, revealing he wanted to write the project. But he admits it’s more than a job. “To me, it was like, ‘Here was this project for you to write; you are supposed to tell this story because you lived it.’”

Mwa, he should stay with what he does which is acting. Hard enough for writers to get a gig without actors making it even tougher for them. Hire a writer, Lance!

hey Dexter,I am hoping so, I am hoping so, cause this is my personal favorite site. this is my ‘pb family’ here lol. if I’m doing this for the pb fans it ’s here I’m sending it to.this site has done lot for me,a hundred % more than I was expecting. my dream is to someday meet Wentworth -my favorite celebrity in the history of the world lol…. Dexter you can go to the painting site and see the portrait I did of ‘Michael Scofield’ I mailed it to ‘Fox Studio’ and I think they kidnap it. you can leave a comment for me if you’d like.

hayden when u paint something ,paint it for went , a commentaker calling themselves newyork says u use a projecter , so they are like tbag still with the captivity of their negitivity. i read ur comments on the other artsite. u dont use projecter. i notice the flags behind the president obama artwork.

I liked Lane Garrison in PB and I wish for him the best of luck and hope he will have a successful career in acting or writing.
But why is this talk about “the paintings”?

oh hi Kara, I think the others were kinda following my comment, I just made a comment I’d like to do a painting for the fans (when I saw Lane it kinda sent me back to pb 1 and 2) and it reminded me of how much I love those pb actors. I think the other comments were excited as well. but I do apologize to offend you Kara, heba, lee, I won’t mention it again. sorry friends. …Lane Garrison just shook me a bit, even if it was haywire or abruzzi, they will do the same, art is a way I use to express myself to show how much I love and support the actors. lol I think I’ll have to keep a low profile lol I think you are tired of me.

yo kara baby u pickin on paintings now leave that for newyork, how come u never come to suport me a few days ago, hayden man a few of people are turning on u bro. u better not send any more paintings here. i understand u saying it was a spur a the moment kinda thing ,its like u see a pix with tweener and wham it sends u back to s 1 but ur instincts say bring it out its pb 1 give the fans a part of what u feel inside ,kara seems sternly upset maybe as she havent heard from me in a while, as i was saying its like instinct i am studying my work and i see kara name and wham my mind takes a opposite turn in my work ,then my teacher gets upset and slaps me around for writing obscene graffiti on my book, she doesnt understand spur off the moment thoughts.i also think we all are talking about the same prisonbreak but differ sites are like differ rooms .we shouldnt have to limit ourselfs to a page we should be free as long as we show our love and respect to the show.

I´m here because I love PB and love to get some news of the PB actors. It was never my intention to pick on someone. I´m sorry if you think I am rude. Many of Went´s fans give him presents of all sorts. Hayden´s paintings got a great discussion on this web side and I think he did a very good job.But I think the talk about the paintings has been going on for too long now.That´s all.

kara did not write on our behalf ,hayden i like to say something i have been reading all comments in these sites and most of them will write and say, i love prisonbreak or bring back prison break or prison break is best show ever or dont let michael die. 80 percent write that and 15 percent wtite storylines. but u told us different things all in favor of went, michael, prisonbreak, the pb guys, also of what u want to paint for the pb fans u were so exited to us, always lifting us supporting us,asking how we are going, asking for heba ,lee, others. you just made friends with dexter, fahad, dragana, we know u love artwork and prisonbreak actors. it so sad to see u got dissappoint with wentworth fans, it not nice to see ur govment turn u down,then fox not answer u, now u happy here and u are told enough of the art ,wentworth has ohter fans also giving him gifts, so u are nothing? i will always look at the painting and see it was done by true fan of went truely commited from his heart. u have gave us a lot. now we can go read just comments, i guess u did ur part and u go ,u was never really get accepted for who u are, now we all have excited comments to read.so hayden whats next with u???????? i know u wanted went to have a gift cuz he is favorite, u thought everyone here supported u. other artiste paint went but yours will be always most special. please bro whats next?

how very sweet and thoughtful heba, I could not ignore you. lol . no kara was right, but sometimes I get so carried away I am so excited to do something for my movie ‘Prison Break’. seeing “lane garrison” is like seeing all the pb guys from s1 .how could I resist that movie? I just know that I got to ‘try again’ to get another one to Wentworth, but I am not sending it to FOX. so for now I think I’ll keep a low profile until I’m ready to send another to Wentworth , (I might get carried away again) lol. Oh Kara, how can I say no to such sweet people. you all are so sweet! I mean it! but I should really respect the topic, I know I was going overboard a bit. I wish I had many supporters and friends like you all . I will always be with my pb fan site, this is the best fansite in the world. I really do have to work on something for Wentworth again, maybe this time he will receive it. I’ll keep in touch.( these days I am hardly ever on the computer so forgive me for taking long) I’ll be here !!!
