Lane Garrison was charged with vehicular manslaughter yesterday in the death of 17-year-old Vahagn Setian. He is also being chareged with driving under the influence and providing alcohol to a minor. Garrison’s blood-alcohol level was .20, more than twice the legal limit.
Garrison’s lawyer, Harland Braun, told TMZ his client has arranged with the District Attorney to voluntarily surrender to the court at 1:30 PM. It is possible that the District Attorney will ask for $200,000 bail. Garrison is not being charged with acting under “gross negligence.” That’s important because the enhancement of gross negligence would increase the maximum prison time.
If convicted, Garrison faces a maximum of 6 years in prison.
In a statement, attorney Paul Kiesel says, “The Setian family is gratified by the charges brought by the Los Angeles district attorney’s office. They have lost their only child due to the recklessness of Lane Garrison. The Setians will do all they can to assist the district attorney’s office and ensure that justice is served. They hope this is a message to other public figures not to abuse drugs, alcohol or the public trust afforded to them by their fame. The family continues to appreciate the privacy and respect shown to them by the media.”

I am sorry for the victims but for him, too.
The show script became reality. From movie prison to the real. You never know in life. Sad;(((
