L Word preview on OurChart

For those of you who can’t wait for the L Word season premiere on Jan. 6, Showtime offers this little gift: the first episode will debut Dec. 30 on OurChart, the site founded by L Word creator Ilene Chaiken.Broadcasting & Cable notes that Showtime has often given fans advance access to new shows. In 2005, it distributed the season-opener of Kirstie Alley’s Fat Actress on Yahoo, following up with early debuts of most major series through various outlets. Californication debuted this summer on Netflix three weeks before its Showtime premiere.
