King of the Hill goes to Adult Swim

As an update to my earlier post speculating where exactly King of the Hill was going to end up, it’s at Adult Swim. Here’s the announcement:

With King of the Hill joining Family Guy in our Adult Swim lineup we now have two of the greatest animated series ever made,” said Mike Lazzo, Swim’s justifiably excited senior vice president of programming and production, in a press release.

Really? Seriously? I’m thinking that he and I might differ on the definition of “greatest animated series”. Exaggeration much? Anyway, I’m glad that KotH DID get picked up, it would have been a crime to let it fade away quietly.
