Kanye West has a history of jumping on stage at award shows when he disagrees with the results but his outburst at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards tonight was probably the worst.
The category was “Best Female Video” and I will admit to being surprised when Taylor Swift’s “You 
Belong With Me” won over Beyoncé’s internet sensation “Single Ladies” but I also thought that Taylor’s video was good and I was happy for her.
During her acceptance speech, she seemed to happy to have won and even went on to explain how much the moment meant to her. Unfortunately, things quickly turned sour when Kanye appeared at her side.
He felt that Beyoncé should have won and took the opportunity to tell the crowd that “Single Ladies” was one of the best videos ever made while Taylor stood there looking horrified. I really couldn’t believe what I was seeing.
I’ve heard that Taylor walked off crying and Kanye was escorted from the building. During the rest of the evening, anytime his name came up the audience booed loudly so it will be interesting to see what kind of fallout he will face for his actions tonight.

I think Kanya West should be banned from any future Music awards. This man has no class what so ever. Intoxicated or not there was no excuse for his actions. I think this guy actually HATES WHITE PEOPLE! Looser! I will never purchase any music he puts out again. We need to stop a Looser like this from making another dime. Mr. West needs to clean toilets and learn a little humility!
Shame on you Kanye! You ruined a special moment for Taylor Swift. She was genuinely surprised by the award and you took that once in a lifetime feeling from her. No apology can ever give her that moment back.
