Kanye West was on American Idol March 11, 2009 to play his song “Heartless.” I was a little hesitant when I first heard that he he was going to perform.
I remembered that his last live performance of that song on Saturday Day Night Live was a disaster and didn’t want a repeat of that for Kanye. I was surprised listening in cause I thought it was actually decent sounding.

his song is really beautiful and the CD version is awesome. But the live version seems to be mediocre at best.
