Just One More Day Until Fresh ’30 Rock’

Sure, advance streaming of 30 Rock‘s third-season premiere has been online over at Hulu since last week, but I’m a traditionalist who likes her TV on TV, unless I miss an episode or something.

Tomorrow is finally the big premiere day for Tina Fey fans like me, though, and the season opener “Do-Over” promises to be good, especially considering its comedy-veteran guest stars: Megan Mullally of Will & Grace fame and new daddy Will Arnett of Arrested Development.

If you haven’t already caught the episode on the Internet, Mullally plays adoption agent Bev. She visits the set of TGS to investigate her concerns that Liz Lemon might lead too hectic a lifestyle for an adopted child. Of course, Liz requests that everyone involved with the show be on their best behavior during the small intrusion, but bickering Jenna and Tracy just can’t manage to oblige.

Meanwhile, Arnett reprises his role as devious Devin Banks, whom Jack Donaghy is intent to kick out of his old job. The only problem is Jack’s new job is so far removed from his former status, slogging his way back to the top will require time, effort, and much sacrifice. But, if anybody can do it, Jack can.

30 Rock‘s third season premieres Thursday, October 30, at 9:30pm EST.
