Jonathan Frakes Takes on Kirk vs Sparrow

If you’ve read any of my past interviews you know that there are three random questions that I try to ask everyone I meet. This week it was Jonathan Frakes’ turn – two out three since we were under a time crunch.

What’s something you’ve done that there’s no way you’re ever doing that again?

Jonathan: (Laughs) That’s a great question. Hmm, get into a semi, hitchhiking, in the dead of winter, at night. I ended up crossing over two highways in upstate New York, in the 70s this was, so I think I’ve learned – I don’t hitchhike anymore and I certainly wouldn’t get in with a crazy truck driver.

That sounds like the start of a horror movie.

Jonathan: Well, it just about was. It was also just about the end of my life. It’s just something I’m not going to do again. I’m glad you asked, though.

Jonathan: Oh, not that I don’t love Bill Shatner, but I love Keith Richards more!
