Here’s the third trailer for "Public Enemies," the movie starring Johnny Depp as gangster John Dillinger. Directed by Michael Mann, it also stars Christian Bale as Melvin Purvis, Billy Crudup as J. Edgar Hoover, Marion Cotillard as Billie Frechette, and Channing Tatum as Pretty Boy Floyd.
It’s all about the Feds trying to take down notorious gangsters during the gritty crime wave of the 1930s. Check out the 30-Second Clip and first trailer. The movie hits theaters July 1, 2009.

I was a bit disappointed by the movie. I don’t think it gave justice to the entire time period and didn’t really get into Dillinger. I found some interesting comments about the film on pandalous:
