Ghost Whisperer’s Jennifer Love Hewitt has always been very busy, and her
latest activity, according to Hollywood Reporter is she’s tapped a new partner, Scott W. Anderson, for her production company, Fedora Films. They are taking on a new hot project as well.
Their project is called the untitled Odessa project, and it’s based on a written article about a 22 year-old housewife who becomes a hooker and gets involved with prominent members of a small Texas town. I guess they are rethinking the original long title (?) since it’s being reported as “untitled”, however you can read the particulars at IMDB.
Is this a true story? After reading the article, it sounds like something straight from the headlines. It has all the trimmings of a nice feature…sex scandal, police raids, prison time, and of course, small town humiliation.
Her production company also has a deal for a new graphic novel with IDW Comics, called “Jennifer Love Hewitt’s The Music Box”. She’s also inked a contract to write a book for Hyperion.
Also of note, Ghost Whisperer was honored at the CW’s 10th Annual Family Entertainment Awards, an event that honors quality entertainment for all ages.
