Jane’s Favorite Movie Tunes, Vol. 1

There are so many great movie songs, but of course, I have favorites. I thought about doing them all in one post, but figured that would just be…too much. So I’m going to spread them out.

The first is “Shipping Up to Boston,” by Dropkick Murphys, featured in The Departed. Where else can you have a banjo AND an accordion in a heavy metal band? One of my favorites of 2006, this Irish Mafia flick featured an all-star cast of Jack Nicholson, Leonardo DiCaprio, Matt Damon, Mark Wahlberg, Martin Sheen, Ray Winstone, and Alec Baldwin.
