Jamie Foxx said some pretty harsh and racist remarks for Miley Cyrus on his satellite radio show “The Foxxhole.”
On the show a commenter brought up the subject of Miley Cyrus and her recent remarks against ‘Radio Head.’ It all started when Miley was at a Radio Head concert last month and asked to see the band. They refused (as well as Kanye West) because they said that they wanted to stay focused. Miley, apparently was upset with the matter and said that she was ‘going to ruin them.’ Granted the remark was uncalled for but who knows it it was taken out of content or if she was being a douche that day.
The fact of the matter was that she is only 16 and Jamie Foxx and his crew just tore into her.
They told her to…
- “make a sex tape with her father”
- “Take drugs like Britney”
- “Little white bitch”
- “Catch Chlamydia on a bicycle seat”

Shit rolls out of peoples mouths? I’ve never seen that. Anyone who considers themselves a public figure, and he does, should have the presence of mind not to make racist and stupid remarks especially about a minor female. If it just rolled out of his mouth he meant it and he should be held accountable. Jamie Foxx isn’t even funny, let alone intelligent, an intelligent person would have the sense to keep his racist , stupid, bigoted opinions to himself.

Ok. This is silly. First of all… Jamie is just an idiot. His comments were in bad taste and he should think before he speaks. However, this girl is a public figure and therefor open to comments and remarks such as these.
But, that isn’t the end of it. Let me start by saying I am not racist in any way. Some of my best friends have been black (not African-American, black – not all blacks are African you tards), hispanic, and other races. But, if a white guy made those same comments about a girl of any minority, he would get in all kinds of trouble and probably be eight balled from any buisiness he was in.
So here it is. When someone makes those comments, just accept it is bad humor and the target is famous so people are going to joke about them. When a white guy makes those comments… AMERICA stop having double standards and treat everyone equally. It is like retribution for slavery is to once again seperate the classes and make white a lower stardard of civilian. Out of 486 whites who passed only 5 got hired.Out of 118 blacks who passed 8 got hired.Out of 217 hispanics who passed 6 got hired.You dont even want to know the pass/fail ratio of whites vs blacks or you will accuse me of lying or being racist.So if your black and pass the test you have 500% better chance of getting the job over an EQUALLY OR BETTER QUALIFIED WHITE PERSON.Hispanics only have a 375% better chance than a white person.
Now I have seen and experienced racism because of the color of my skin but I see more racism in my own community than I do in the white community.EVERY black I know decided to vote for Obama based on RACE.They call me “uncle tom” because I wont stay in the ghetto with them. But honestly don’t expect minorities–especially blacks–to get bent out of shape because we have endured some of the most blatantly racist remarks from celebrities, politicians, etc in our present day without even mentioning slavery. Speaking of slavery, the Egyptians treated slaves humanely, and they were paid (one reference you can check on this is the Bible), so the ancient Egyptian slave is nothing like the slaves of the Transatlantic slave trade or even modern day slaves (sex/labor trafficking happens to all races and nationalities, but I digress.)
Miley herself even took heat for a racist gesture she made about Asians.
Both sides of the argument are needed, I suppose. Racism exists, on both sides. Unfortunately, racism against whites usually results in nothing more than hurt feelings. Racism against other races–NOT JUST BLACKS–usually results in police harassment, employment denials, wrongful convictions, assault and even murder…and that’s a fact. And that’s the disconnect.
Please, stop using BET and black-oriented awards and establishments as proof of reverse racism. Black schools give minority scholarships to white students, and these race-specific programs only exist because of a lack of diversity in mainstream America. And, despite the tremendous advancements in society,there is still a misrepresentation of races and cultures in the mainstream.
Also, please stop yelling that slavery was years ago. It’s true that it was hundreds of years ago, but common sense tells you that you cannot do something as large and encompassing as the slave trade for 400 years and not expect a societal residue. Events of today are results of slavery. Not to mention that after slavery, several whites in society were already wealthy because of it, and the freed slaves became sharecroppers for perhaps another 100 years (sharecropping has existed in our lifetime), which was just another form of slavery. Then after sharecropping came Jim Crow, and the dehumanization of blacks. Let’s not forget that slavery may have been 100s of years ago, but Blacks didn’t gain all their civil rights up until about 40 years ago.
Blacks have to learn that the injustices against us should not be held as a reason for anger, or an excuse for failure, but as fuel to understand and learn from the past and to take advantage of the opportunities we have today. Yes there are still injustices against Blacks simply because of the color of our skin. But we are in a better position to fight it now than we’ve ever been. Plus, don’t be so quick to cry racism. Every time we do so and it’s not founded it will hurt the legitimate arguments.
Whites have to learn that the injustices Blacks have suffered and continue to suffer are very real, and mostly dealt at the hands of whites. Don’t be so quick to dismiss the accusation of racism.
Perhaps the answer is keeping the dialogue of racism open, but without the arms folded, ears closed, and defenses up.
