It’s Official: ‘Dark Blue’ Gets Second Season

The TNT Report dropped a hint just a couple of days ago, and now TNT has done the deed and made it official. That’s right, Dark Blue fans. The network has confirmed that the Dylan McDermott undercover cop drama will definitely return for a sophomore season.

According to reports, the series will present ten episodes during its second run, the same number in its rookie season.

And, if we’re lucky and TNT programmers know what they’re doing, eventually the show will end up paired with similarly gritty NBC import Southland, which makes its TNT debut on Tuesday, January 12, at 10pm ET. We can only hope.
