It's Always Sunny: 'The Mortgage Crisis' Premiere Preview

September 17 is a huge night for sitcom fans. Not only do three NBC comedies begin new seasons, but FX’s super-silly fan favorite It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia launches its fifth season with the premiere “The Gang Exploits the Mortgage Crisis.”

So, what are the demented members of the Paddy’s Pub gang up to these days? Well…

While Frank, Mac, and Dennis try to get lucky in the real estate business, Dee tries to become a surrogate mother for a wealthy couple with a to-die-for home. Really.

And let’s not forget Charlie, who tries to take on an attorney and school him in the complexities of the judicial system. Really.

Let’s guess just how many of the lovable, screwed-up characters are going to succeed in their individual schemes, after sneaking a peek at “The Gang Exploits the Mortgage Crisis” in the clip below. That really is a nice house.

It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia airs Thursdays on FX at 10pm ET.
