Is This Heaven? – No, It’s New Jersey

Cuddy & House

Well, the season finale has just aired and as expected, we have several hanging, unanswered questions. Will Foreman come back? Will he work for Cuddy or Wilson instead of House?

Now that House has fired Chase, will he reconsider and hire him back?

Cameron has quit once again, will she come back this time?

Will all three combine forces to make their own team to compete with House? Will House just hire a bunch of new flunkies he can mistreat?

There are so many questions. Here’s an excerpt from an item from USA Today:

Katie Jacobs: Tuesday’s delayed season-finale cliffhanger (9 ET/PT) will shake things up and “address what has been the cumulative experience and how has that impacted each of them,” Jacobs says. “Next season will be different. We’re not saying who is coming back and who is not, just that it’ll look very different.”

[oh...I get was you're saying, kinda.] Uh…my name-well I kinda thought of it a few years ago and my friends thought it was funny so I just kinda never really bothered to change it.

“CITTIEPOO,” In the comment that you made on Jun. 1, you seemed to imply that House screwed things up with Foreman. And such an implication would lead one to infer that House’s last interaction with Foreman was a contributing factor in Foreman’s decision to leave. But remember that House made a sincere statement regarding Foreman’s value on the team AND extended him an offer, which should only be viewed as a “plea” (for House anyway), to remain a part of the team. *It was Foreman who callously rejected House’s offer and then went on to deride him both personally and professionally! In their last altercation, between the two of them, House seemed to make better sense. Particularly when he noted that Foreman had become just as much if not more selfish than he and that Foreman was quiitting only to prove he was a more caring Dr. It is safe to say that ANY employer would be anxious to be rid of an employee who acted the way that Foreman did.
Oh, and by the way, I am just curious as to what “CITTIEPOO” is suppose to symbolize or mean. You have to admit that it is not every day that one posts a name such as that!

    yup, that’s right. :)

Also, he knew where Chase/Cameron/Foreman were: he had fired Chase, and Cameron and Foremen were busy keeping that woman alive.

Matt… watch the episode again. Those weren’t interns, they were first year med students in a class Cuddy was teaching. They are two years away from House being able to hire them.

House getting a new guitar is obviously symbolism but in that same episode when he couldn’t find cameron/chase/foreman he asked a question to the group of interns who were with cuddy and there was one intern who kind of got the answer right and house told her to send her resume, maybe not her but maybe house will hire one of the interns in that group

tru….yeah. I would love to see Cuddy and House get closer, way closer but not actually makeing it offical or the show would get boring quicker in some way….

Stacy is a “been there, done that” character for me. I don’t want to see her again and, besides, going back would be contrary to the new direction the show might be taking. Even if Foreman/Cameron/Chase are back next season, I don’t want to see Stacy again. I would like to see House and Cuddy get closer.

but stacy is a lawyer, she would be of no use, the show’s dynamics are conna be messed up, and personally i dont want them to change the way the show looks, at this point, i will settle with the team leaving, but i have a problem with them changing the way the show looks

Ugh…I loved the season finale, it was filled with alot of twists and drama. I was in awe when House fired Chase then Cameron left. There may have been a chance Foreman could of stay if House didn’t screw up, but that’s why we love him. Hey guys, what if some old charecter comes back? Like, Stacey or something….oh well. We’ll just have to wait and see. i can’t wait until the next season. :)

Janice is completely right. While Chase, Cameron and Foreman were great characters in the seasons past it was time for a change. I have a feeling the writers were struggling to create more subplots with the three. Cameron didn’t have room for anymore Love interests having gone through House and Chase (Come on we know she would never go for Foreman). Chase and Foreman’s characters became more and more revealed over the past three seasons leaving little room for further development. And when it comes right down to it we don’t need to know House’s team that in depth. Just enough to give House material for his personal shots against them. A new team will provide a whole new repertoire of House insults which is the reason we all watch the show in the first place. If you still miss the three imagine this team. A cute Asian woman, an Indian guy and some Waspy smart ass typical Ivy Leaguer…Imagine the fun House could have with that!!!! Oh and if this isn’t long winded enough the fact that House got himself a new guitar after 10 or so years and we say him playing it in the end is all the symbolism I need to think that no member of the old team will be back in any serious roll.

    think about it this way:

Chase, Cameron and Foreman are all there on post-doc fellowships at a teaching hospital to learn and then move on. If the show is to have any twinge of reality at all, then they must all leave at some point. They probably don’t want to be flunkies for the rest of their lives (except for Chase who up until the last episode I thought would have done anything to stay with House).

They all might be back at Princeton-Plainsboro next season in their own departments. You never know. I doubt that any of them will be working for House again based on how House reacted at the end.

    Kailey, you have problems.

  15. By Kailey

but cameron and chase and foreman are his sidekicks, irreaplacible characters. without chase I WOULD DIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I totAlly agree. Hugh Laurie is my HOUSE. And i dont see the show ending unless he quits. He is such a GREAT ACTOR. I have totally fallen head over heals for him!

  17. By Janice

As long as House is on HOUSE, I am going to be just fine. :) I thought about it after the show ended yesterday, “would I really care if Cameron/Chase/Foreman were replaced and the answer I came up with is “no”. Not saying I don’t enjoy those characters or that I have anything against the actors. I discovered, when the possibility of them being gone was presented, that Hugh Laurie IS HOUSE for me and as long as he is there, I am there and things will be just fine.

I have spent the last 4 years slowly learning to love this drug addicted, brilliant, ornery, lonely man! This makes my whole Tuesday…bottom line.
I Have faith in the writers and Hugh to carry the show all on his own, but if they make these risky changes and write the death of the show for next season I will be lost every week in my lack of a “House” fix!
