Corey Feldman (and his hair) has been a familiar face in my city before. Seeing him always made me chuckle because I could smell the desperation from a mile away. I don’t generally make it a habit to pick on celebrities–it’s too easy, but Feldman’s new Lost Boys: The Thirst photos featured on Arrow in the Head made me feel kind of bad for the aging D-list celebrity.
The Thirst is currently filming in South Africa with Dario Piana directing a script by Evan Charnov. Corey Feldman returns as Edgar Frog, now a veteran vampire-hunter and surfboard shaper. A wealthy romance novelist, played by sexy Tanit Phoenix, enlists Frog’s help to track down a missing family member.
If the picture of a beady-eyed Feldman peering over the shoulder of his attractive co-star doesn’t kind of creep you out then I don’t know what will. To be honest, I didn’t even know about the Lost Boys sequels. I loved the first one when I was younger but a recent viewing didn’t thrill me the same way. You can expect Lost Boys: The Thirst on DVD later this year.
