"Iron Man 2" News – War Machine

Just got my screener copy of the Iron Man DVD today, and yowza, the bonus features are awesome. I especially love Robert Downey, Jr.’s screen test.

Of course, there’s plenty of talk about a sequel to the smash hit. IGN.com recently had the opportunity to visit the studios of the legendary Stan Winston, and they uncovered a few snippets of info on the sequel.

Of the casting, artist Chris Swift says, “The most I’ve heard is that there’s a possibility of the War Machine. That would be Terrence Howard in this next one. I talked a lot with him on set and I said, ‘Get ready. In the comic books, you end up in the suit.’ And I think he’s going to get his opportunity.”

Hmmm… Howard’s role in the first movie was somewhat understated, so it’ll be interesting to see how it all plays out.
