"Indiana Jones" to Premiere at Cannes

“Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull” is premiering at the Cannes Film Festival this year.

Despite initial rumors that the movie would open this year’s Cannes — which runs from May 14-25 — the flick will be screened out-of-competition as a special festival centerpiece on May 18, reports Variety.

The fourth film in the popular franchise stars Harrison Ford, Shia LaBeouf and Karen Allen. It opens nationwide in theaters May 22.

All I can say is, after a somewhat dismal winter at the theater, I can’t wait for this film to open!
