Several people have commented on the fact that David Boreanaz didn’t look happy at all after the red carpet for last week’s Emmy Awards Show. Here’s another good example of what they were referring to. I wonder if it’s because they paired him on stage with a reality star with no real talent (Lauren Conrad). If you think about it, there’s really nothing about her that would make her qualified to present an Emmy, especially alongside someone as special as David. What are your thoughts?
propably bad day
I read that David is angry at the Emmys because they have failed to acknowledge any of the three popular & critically acclaimed shows he’s been on. So when he went there he purposely showed his displeasure by being very serious & visibly unhappy.
David really cherishes his time at home with his wife and son. Maybe after a fairly non-stop shooting schedule which began last May (I think), he was tired and wasn’t too keen on presenting. His publicist probably set the gig up and he agreed back in June or July, but by the time the Emmys came around, he was just tired and would rather have spent a quiet night at home.
i think that saying that he was mad because he had to stand next to her makes him sound incredibly egotistical, which i don’t get from David, i believe that perhaps he was having a bad day, and i agree with chanelle, it seems diva…which he is not!

David is my star, and i like Lauren.
Have different feeling for both of them, for different reasons, so i don’t think it was that the reason he was sad.anyway i’m not sure bout that.

I agree that Lauren should not have been there. I mean c’mon, between her, Paris , and Nicole … I wonder why they get the attention they get from the press. They are absolute nobodies and are famous for doing….NOTHING! David deserved to have real talent by his side. These reality stars, or children of well-known parents need to get a real job. sorry for the rant.
That’s kind of what I thought. Entertainment Weekly reported that as well. Kristie, no disrespect to LC, but I just don’t feel she was qualified to stand next to David. Usually the Emmy’s are about scripted television; I have no idea why they changed it. I hope it had nothing to do with marital problems. Personally, I think he should have presented with Emily. I know they can’t do EVERYTHING together, but what a great promotion device. If people see how much chemistry they have together in real life, think of how much they have on television, you know? At least, that would draw ME in…

No real talent? That’s kind of harsh. She’s wonderfully talented when it comes to fashion. I mean, yeah, totally not special enough to share a stage with our David, but then, who is? Right? Right LOL. I like Lauren, she’s probably the only reality tv star that, if I saw her walking down the street, I wouldn’t have to fight the urge to kick in the shins ;)
Maybe he was having a bad day… We cant be happy ALL the time.
