I Have Seen the Future: Supernatural 5.2

I’ve seen the clips for Supernatural 5.2 and I’m working on getting them for you, but in the meantime, for those who will take anything they can get, here’s a rundown, behind the cut,  because it’s so very spoilery.

Two of the clips take place in Bobby’s hospital room. In the first one, Castiel has arrived and he’s giving the boys a little lecture about how they’re no longer easy to find thanks to the rib carving. (I guess that’s why he didn’t arrive sooner.)  Bobby, in a wheelchair and facing away, snaps for Castiel to get on with the healing already, but Castiel breaks the news that he’s no longer able to do that, most of his heavenly powers are now gone.

Bobby flips out, shouting about how that’s just perfect timing, in the awkward moment Dean tries to lighten the mood with, “at least he’s talking.” (So apparently he’s been very closed mouth up until then.)

In the second Bobby clip, he gets a call from Rufus who is underfire from demons and looking for help.

The third clip has the boys arriving in town and Ellen gets the drop on them. She splashes them with holy water to make sure it’s them, then takes them to a fortified church where she hugs the heck out of Dean, then she slaps him in the face. When she backs off, she lectures them about being out of touch and how they better put her on speed dial from now on. “Yes, ma’am,” says Dean and he means it. I think Ellen is the only woman who can put the mama fear into Dean!

And that’s pretty much it. Nice clips — nothing earth shattering, but hey, it’s a new Supernatural coming your way this Thursday.
