I Don't Speak Spanish...But Tren Loco Patadas Mucho Culo!

tapa-Venas-de-Acero Imagine Iron Maiden and Judas Priest weren’t from the UK. Imagine that they were from Argentina and they weren’t two bands but only one. Yes, I know what a travesty that would be to never know the two separately, now wipe away the tears and read on.

Ok, well maybe this sounds closer to Priest with just a touch of Iron Maiden. I had to use Google Site translator to better understand the band, so you’ll have to use it too unless you speak Spanish. Tren Loco, or Crazy Train as we would call them are from Argentina. I got an email from Gustavo Zeta, the Bass player in Tren Loco last week and I kind of forgot about it until today. They have been around for 19 years and if you’re from South America then they are probably a household name. Check out this video for the song Venas De Acero Veins Of Steel from their album of the same name. You can also download the mp3 for free right here. (Video after the fold)

They also did a cover of Metallica’s For Whom The Bell Tolls…in Spanish.

100% sure the cover is a parody of Orgasmatron… Awesome! I’ll check them out for sure.

The Metallica cover is actually really good, the singing sound a little strange to me but not to bad, as far as the lyrics, good translation.

I was wondering how the lyrics would translate with the rhythm of the song itself. Like I said, I don’t speak Spanish but I imagine it’s tough to do that in any language.
