Hurry Up and Save Us, Iron Man

b5 media logo

It was another lackluster week at the box office and we need heroes like Iron Man, Indiana Jones and The Incredible Hulk to pick things up in a hurry. This week’s no. 1 film was the Tina Fey-Amy Poehler comedy Baby Mama with just over $18 million.

Last week’s no. 1 The Forbidden Kingdom dropped to no. 3 with around $11 million.  Maybe because they didn’t tell anybody neither Jackie Chan or Jet Li was the hero of the film. But I digress. The second place honors went to stoner comedy Harold and Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay. Let’s face it, movie fans: There are pressing few reasons to go to the movies from January-April.
